The client uses outbound buffering and advanced setup routines to enhance the PTT experience, resulting in the lowest latency and fastest time-to-talk possible on CDMA 1X networks. With Core Mobility's PTT client, users can begin speaking as little as 1.5 seconds after initiating a PTT call.

When in a PTT call, the speed at which the "floor" can be awarded has a huge impact on the perception of application responsiveness.
